I need to install a fuel pump cutoff switch for theft protection and need to know the amperage and voltage for the fuel pump so that I don't put in a switch that is too small for the job? THX

We used to have a post about this on the old CL. When I did this, I just used a $2 switch from Home Depot and an inline 25amp fuse on the side of the wire that leaves the fuel pump. It works great, I just forget sometimes to switch it and stall!

I'm just worried about the switch burning out and leaving me or even worst my wife stranded not knowing what to do. I could just bypass the switch but...my wife.......I'll never hear the end of it!!!!!!!!!!! Do you know the amps for the pump?
