just get the rotas, they should be under $100 each for the 15s. nippon racing, spoom, and flik all make copies but they aren't any cheaper.

oh yeah, they are called slipstreams.

Ilike the slips, seen them upclose and theres really nothing different othern than they are NOT spoons!

you can find a used pair with rubber for about 600 or so if you look for them enough.

Other than the fact that if your really into racing... I mean spirited driving that the Spoon's weigh 8 lbs and the Slips weigh in a a wooping 11.8 lbs, other than that yeah they are pretty much the same. Which ever ones you go with make sure you steer clear of big bumps and pot holes because of their low weights they tend to be easier to bend, aslong as you have some 50 series tires you should be ok though.

.
Ive got a set of Slipstreams for my DA, but the rotas are smooth and the spoons are sand cast. Also the scheen of the paint is diffrent. If you look at them next to eachother you can tell. The weight factor dosent kill me at all............ whats another 3lbs per wheel??? Or even the 12lbs for all four??? Not worth the extra cash!!

I may be selling my 15" Slipstreams, and my cousin has a set of 16"s he would most likely be looking to sell as well.

I got my black slips 16" for $650 shipped off ebay. I have a friend w/ real spoons and his seems like a lighter shade of black, almost gunmetal/gray.
