Hi all,

Here is my situation, I drive an '93 Hatch Back Civic VTEC Eti.

I start the car in the morning as normal, after a few hundred yards up pops the engine check light on my dash!

After a few miles, I pull over, turn off the car, restart and the check light will disappear!

The car is driving fine..

I did a check on the ecu by shorting the pins and counting the blinks on the dashboard!

I check the blink to the ecu chart and it is number 48 LAF sensor..

Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can sort this out.
I have cleaned the connections on the sensor!

Help please.

Robbie..

We are not like that in Ireland, the Car came from Japan.

So to me and my friends it is a Jap Import..

Same as if I bought a car from England.

It would be an English Import..

No harm intended..

Trust someone to stir up something from nothing..thks alot..

If anyone is interested it was the Oxygen Sensor that was causing the "Check light" on the dash.

Case closed..
