You can always add an intercooler. There are tons of good turbo kits out there that make decent power on the D block... intercooled or not.

slick said the guy sells the fmic kit with it though...so it sounds like it would include everything.

get intercooler after the fact, and save some money by getting a used i/c. Also, you don't HAVE to intercool your turbo setup immediatly if you're running 5-6psi. I waited several months before I got mine hooked up.

Question for the original poster:

How desparate are you for power? How much are you willing to fork into getting that extra power you want? How willing are you to risk your Honda service warranty?

You should really start there. Justifying going from a brand new car that you bought right off the dealer lot, to an older car that youll have to buy used just doesn't make the grade for me.

So ask yourself a few questions first.

Yes, you don't NEED an I/C immediately w/ stock Greddy boost settings, and you don't need a BOV, either. You also don't need wheels on your car, but would you really want to go w/o them? LOL. Sorry for the sarcasm.

The guy that I was telling BMM about sells the Greddy Type 31 FMIC w/ the turbo kit and a BOV kit (Greddy Type S or HKS SSQ).

If you don't have the money to buy a FMIC w/ your kit, I'd suggest atleast going to a junkyard and picking up a DSM Side mount I/C. They should be really cheap, and you can order some custom piping from JCWhitney.
