Don't go to a dealership! Honestly it's like six to seven hundred dollars! Get a regular mechanic to do it, and if you supply your own belts there is nothing they can markup on you, so labor is usually only around 250-350 depending on the mechanic.

All Honda dealers should charge $600 Flat, This will include all drive belts and timing. IF the dealer is charging you more then you car report them to hondausa. My boy has the pricing book that all honda dealers are supposed to qoute prices from.

Toda started making a stronger timing belt because their cams were notorious for snapping them. A snapped timing belt at 9 grand isn't the greatest thing in the world to have happen to an expensive motor.

i procrastinate way too much....bought a timing belt a long time ago and never replaced it..hell i even have the water pump...149K miles.... maybe i should buy some new valves for when i snap the belt? It WILL be done in the next month or so, working 7 days a week (4 8 hour days and 3 14 hour days) its hard to find the time.
