Don't be scared of either swap.. they can both be done.. are you going to have a shop do this or yourself?

1. H22 will be a lil more painful to swap but i think u will be very satisfied with the result.

2.H22 and daily driver? Yes!!! You'd like to get Place Racing Motor Mounts and Axles..They have a lifetime warranty.

I have a friend with a JDM H22 coupe and its a daily driver, stock suspencion xcept for Place racing Axles.

3.You will need a Ludes gear box and shifter assembly,some cutting is involved inside the car.

Friend Best time with full interior(even childs car seat in there),SI rims on Nitto Drag

13.8@100.1 MPH (2.2 in the 60ft) with---> ITR AEM CAI, 2.5"piping, Adj.FPR, No A/C

Now he has alot more stuff

the xtra money you spend doing an H22 swap, you could put into a b16. and prolly still be happy.

well with that philosophy i would just say get a B18B "LS" and save a crap load of cash!
they can be had for under 1K. (then turbo/sc/nitrous) with the other 2k. The fact of the mater is a h22 swap is kick ass and worth every penny... just requires more work.

Yeah and a CRX weighs less than a coupe.. His car is a 98 EX with the H22 Swap.. He weighed his car on a trucks balance and it is 2460ish lbs without the driver.

Now he has alot more stuff. When he ran the 13.8 he dynoed 170ish whp and 150 ish lb/ft

AFter that he added a Greddy Header, Cam sprockers and Skunk2 stage 2 cams,removed 2ndary butterflies and cut balance shafts and dynoed 226 whp... Now he added Type S pistons changed the header for a custom one and added a VAFC and Fuel pump...he's expecting around 240whp after tunning on his all motor setup and to hit 12 sec N/A...

I forgot to say that his motor cost was 1900 + 100$ port fees..so for 2000 he got the complete H22 with ECU..

He told me that the complete swap-->Motor,axles,motor mounts,Lude gear box and labor...everything was around 4500
