Just wanted to let everyone know that I swapped out my DX cluster with the EX cluster that I had. Did the install at lunch today, took me 40 minutes following Aaron's instructions in the DIY's. I didn't change out the odometer though, cuz I'm not selling the car, it'll have a new heart soon, and the odometer that was in it was broken anyway(shows on the title). so now I have my indash tach and while I was at it I added the clock out of my EX parts car too! Now it's swap time!

Cool..next thing to know (i guess) is that factory tach is not 100% accurate, but i guess u already knew that.

The satisfaction o fhaving a tach is priceless cause u have a better way to protect engine and see how ure revving

Sure they are- get one that reads straight off the ECU and you're set.

Yea, I have an aftermarket tach, but I really wanted an in-dash. Don't worry, I know my rev limiter for my B16 is set right at 8k, so I'll see just how far off the stock tach is soon. I'm sure I'll bounce off the rev limiter once or twice before the rebuild!

Aaron- yes, everything went very smoothly, I was actually surprised of just how easy it was.

Jake- get an RSM. They're really nice, and they read the revs straight off the ECU so you know it's always accurate- well, at least quite a bit more accurate than something mechanical mounted on your dash. You should be able to pick one up on eBay for pretty cheap.

I may look for one after the buildup. Thanks Mike!
