hi i havea very serious question. i have a 97 dx coupe with a bone stock motor. i will have S2.100 dollars and i want to turbo the motor is their a kit for that much and what would u guys recomend that i do to the motor befroe turbo or will it be safe with just like 7 psi the motor only has 83,400 miles on it

i think you'd be wasting your money personally to be safe on 7psi you should be fine might wanna do some upgraded fuel pump injectors etc.

IMO swap it.. less cool factor but way more stable

I wouldn't say it would be a waste of money. You will get a much better timeslip, but your reliability will go way down. If you plan on putting more money into it in the future, a swap is a better option.

Look for Greddy and Revhard, they both come with complete kits that will leave you street legal.

you could run 8psi w/ decent tuning no probs. might yield something like a high 14.

if it was me, i would swap it. thats what i did. but if you really wanna boost it, i'd go with a greddy kit. thats my plan.

that motor isnt gonna last too long boosted.. i say do a mini-me swap while ur under the hood and also turbo it if u got the funds... you get the best of both worlds right there..

on a dx its not worth. the engine is different from those of a ex. just save the money and then swap. in the future boost it!
