To answer your question, go race people who know how to race and you'll find out, and a good racer with an Si is going to smoke a dx. Unlike hanging with them as you mentioned above.

See, but you would also think that an ex since it has 30 more horsepower, and vtec would kill the dx. My dx 5th gen was not as fast as this dx 6th gen, and it is only the 97s and 98s, of course you prolly dont beleive me, but why would I lie on a message board? I dont need to feel cool, I will prolly never meet anyone on this board ever in my life, so I have no need to lie. I use this board for information, just like hondaswap and d-series.org. So dont just bash me for saying that my car is quick for stock.

Back to the original question, its all drivers bro. If your cars have been stock, and you raced all stock cars, then its the drivers. You would not spank an EX in your stock DX, you would not hang with SI's in your stock DX.

Now if your DX motor was modded, and you were racing stock cars, depending on your mods you would/could hang with the other models.
