why does my stock 97 dx hatch kill all other dx's, ex's and hangs with si's???? It is weird, I sold my jdm d15b swap in my 4 door cause I wanted a hatch. I thought that I was trading alot of speed just so I could have a hatch. But I sold that car to my friend and I have recently raced him, and well I hung with him by about a car.... in my stock 97 dx..... I dont understand it. Can someone explain it to me?? The only thing I can think of is that the intake maifold and the throttle body are diff on 97 and 98 dx's so that might account for it but I dont know.

maybe its not the cars, its the drivers. maybe your just a good driver, and everyone you race sucks. its the only thing i can think of, cuz i personally dont know to much of a technical difference between them.

well, they are all 5 speeds and driving wise, as long as you shift at a fairly good speed it is just the launch and I just start pulling away the whole time. I mean ex's it is like 3 cars that is how bad I beat them by. and I had a dx 4door and it was not even close to how fast the hatch is, it is weird

Quadruple just for the hell of it!!!And to Weknowls, I had the same thing in my dx with the stock motor. I would whip some decent cars with a d16y7, so maybe me and you can drive good. Even with a B16 now I've obviously stepped up in the cars that I can take, but even then am really suprised sometimes. |
