Unhappy

ok her it goes,

i have i bet with my friend to get a b-engine in my hatch by the 4th of july, if i win he wears a dress (of my chose) to the following manhonda car show. if i lose i got to wear one.

i was thinking LS just case it will be less money then i can do the vtec head later.

any ideas on how to do this the cheapest but safest way. any other motor mounts i can use beside hasport.

i will do this my self with i alil help from some friends. do i need an engien lift or can i drop it from below and install below. i need a DIY guide to do a swap. i will ask more particualr in the hybrid section.

pls help me fellow CL members i dont want to get on this one...

hybrid doesn't have the best prices on nonvtec motors though, and mdlax will admit it himself. If I were you I'd take alook at getting the b18c from him, He has really good prices and and is always customer friendly.

vtec is soooo overrated.Thats all i hear "the typical rycer" say..."i gots vtec y0!"

Get a b18b and again....as i always say "pssssshhhhh"!

Or build up a b18c and get these...Vtec killers

Yes pricey, but just showing that vtec is not everything!
Vtec is great for stock cars... but when u really start doin stuff to the motor, new cams on the performance side would be better.

Sorry i got OT there for a second.Carry on!

Maybe it's just me but I would rather have a 1.8 non vtec than a 1.6 vtec motor. More torque will do alot more than vtec will. Just my .02 cents

Uh... those are somewhat- how shall we say... pointless to run on the street. You might as well build the B18A/B and port the head, then run a custom cam. VTEC killers are really for people who only run the engine in the VTEC range. You need two sets of lobes for a reason- more usable range in your power band.
