where in the hell do you get a cone filter for a cold air intake? everything i find is for a 3 inch pipe, but the intake is only 2 1/2. my buddy's filter fell apart and we cant find one that fits. anyone know where to get one, or where to order one online for a decent price? thanks.

give K&N a call, they make cone filters in just about any size you want.

Got mine at pep boys. It is a bigger one than 2.5 but they have the clamps that I just tighten and they work just fine. $20.

Try using hose clamps. That's how the Iceman system works. The filter sits at the end of the 3" pipe, but in the short system the pipe is about 2.5" or so. The hose clamp, when situated at the end of the pipe (in short mode) is the perfect size for the filter to attach to.
