Dash

I want to change the color of my interior from the ugly charcoal to black. So i want to know if i can take out my dash to dye it. Also is it possible to dye the carpet and headliner black with carpet dye?

yes and yes headliner's gonna suck doing it might just wanna buy a new one and install it after you dye it

when i think about it i kinda wish i had the black interior, but i dont mind the grey, at least its not creame.

i need my seats reuppolstered and such < maybe just pick some up at a junkyard > but whenever i get around to that ill probably just go with black, my steering wheels yucky, ill probably go with black for that too.

i hate how the airbag cover for the grey is painted and comes off with armorall.

How did you get yours with Black interior? pics? I thought even the SI came with dark grey interior

If I were you I would just get a whole new dash from another car like at a local salvage yard or so. It will look alot cleaner than u trying to paint a dash. Believe me!

Yea, I'm pretty sure all 96-00 interior was grey. Only the Type R had black/red interior. I painted the interior of my last car, and it didn't last. I've heard that dying it works though, I just gotta find a place that will do it for a decent price.
