I am not sure about that one. I don't believe I have ever heard of this problem before. The answer should be interesting at the least.

try replacing the sensor.. checking to see if it's busted.. it's like two little metal prongs with a piece of metal going across it.. might have broke it's common

See whats causing the knock before replacing the sensor, the sensor from honda is like 200 bucks

what i want to know is there a place for the knock sensor plug to plug into on the block itself, so you guys are saying there is a knock sensor on the block then

yeah your going to have to take the intake manifold off to see it, but yeah there is a knock sensor back there, all vtec motors utilize a knock sensor so they dont detenate at high RPM's

To answer the title of the post, there is no knock sensor on the 92-95 Civics. If you are getting a cell, your best bet is get a Helms and follow the procedure to find out if you have a disconnected sensor, a bad wire, broken sensor, or a problem with the ecu.
