I think im in need to change mine up, I have a D16z6 and when im at a stop it almost feels like my car isn't even on. My car runs smooth but I havent changed the plugs and have driven it 15k since I've owned the car. I'm not sure if I want to go with regular stock form NGK's or If I want to throw some platinum's In there... Is there any disadvantages between the platinums or regular? and what about the life of them and so on?

you should only use NGK plugs i don't care if your 100% stock or have a 500 hp civic NGK plugs are the best. Do not use platinum plugs. If you have high milage you can use a set of irinuim (sp) plugs and then next time you replace them put normal plugs in. If you really need new plugs i have a brand new set of NGK plugs never taken out of the box. Let me see if they will fit you car and i'll hook you up for $12-$14 shipped. Can't beat that.

Save your money and just use copper NGK's. I used to run NGK iridiums, but switched back to the much less expensive BKR7E once I started running nitrous.

Thx but my coworker just sold me an extra set he had for $10 Sorry to waist some bandwith for a hr long thread. Right on though smooth. So now I have The platinum Autolite plugs. I did have Some NGK coppers in there and two of them looked really bad. Black all over those mothers.

i use NGK V-power (copper core) plugs. They are only about $2 each and they definitely perform better than the platinums. in fact i once bought a set of NGK platinums just to try them and my old V-power plugs still gave more power.

my rpm was actin funky so thats fixed. I wanted to save on gas a little bit due to living in CA so i hope it helps. As far as perfformance goes, my car doesn't feelany slower or faster. What kind of increase do you feel?

Platnium plugs are a very big misleading scam. I have to find the article but basiclly if you want to get new plugs you either go with stock or iridium. They made it very clear in the article that platnum will not only die sooner but it does not spark as well as stock and or iridium. As soon as I find the article I will post it asap.

Just like Toyz-b-us, I use the copper Bkr7e's (gapped at .047 for a B16 gave me the best results). Pretty quick response. When I got the motor it came with Denso's and they seemed to have a loose feeling that went away with the NGK's- I liked it though, but the NGK's feel a little smoother, like a better ride quality.
