hey guys, i need some help deciding on a clutch. the setup is a turbo gsr with a gsr tranny with somewhere in the range of 350-400 hp. the car is going to be street driven, but pretty much only on the weekends. it is also going to see the track once in a while with slicks. i have it narrowed down to a clutchmasters fx300 or fx400 and an ACT extreme poressure plate with either a organic street dist or a 6 puck (im not sure which to go with). any opinions, ideas, or experiences you guys have for me would be a great help. i dont want to drop $4-500 on a clutch and need a new one in a couple months. also, who has good prices on clutches? thanks in advance

The crx I bought was supposed to be pushing somewhere in the nieghborhood of 300hp with the turbo and what not on it.
The guy who did the build used an act 6 puck clutch with extreme pressure plate for the clutch setup so I'd say that it's def. a contender.
My old HB just needed the clutch replaced so I dropped a Centerforce stage 2 in it and was more than happy.
Then again, there are a few others that neither of us have mentioned that will be brought up later in this thread. Don't hesitate to check around!

I had an act 6-puck disc with just the HDPP and it grabbed really good, it was a little bit too aggressive for everyday driving though. Stop and go driving was really tough on my leg but overall it would definatly be my choice. I will actually be installing it in my GSR when I get some more power runnin through her.

6-puck isnt for daily driven cars...its mostly for the drag strip.
