Ive searched the net but can't find any sites to help me out. I want to install my bodykit myself and maybe even paint it. What are your thoughts on not getting it professionally done? I have a 95 civic ex. Is it hard install a kit?

Well not too hard, but most body kits don't fit 100% , so you have to cut away excess, drill holes, and shave the kit to fit. I helped my friend fit a fiberglass front bumper, and the fenderwells were still a little off, because of a bad mold i guess. If you can get a professional to paint it, and you fit it thatd prolly make the most sense.

puting then on isn't hard, But you should get it painted by a pro. Just fit the kit before it's painted and get everything lined up. Then send it off for painting.

Excatly.

As far as painting, if you have the tools and have painted anything like audio boxes or something before, it's the same thing. But then again, I saw a spray can job once that was only dropped off to get clearcoated and you couldn't tell the difference. But it's the clearcoat that makes it. A spray can is just a transparent layer to take the nicks rather than the paint itself. A pro clearcoat job has a hardener which gives it that glass look and is very resistant.
