Discuss the Throttle Cable thread at the Civic forums at the CivicLand Honda Civic Forums.
i adjusted my throttle cable yesturday to get alittle of the play out of it .it idled inbetween 1000 and 1500 .but now it idles at like 500 to 700 ....

i adjusted my throttle cable yesturday to get alittle of the play out of it .it idled inbetween 1000 and 1500 .but now it idles at like 500 to 700 .why did it do that ? it dont happen all of the time but alot of the times.

These things happen. It could of just had a slight "snag" in it from wear.

That were it's suposed to idle.

500-700 is not bad, i think 800 is stock idle, thats close enough

1100 damn, Some times after driving for a long time and i'm stopped at a light with my radio kinda loud my car drops to like 300 and starts to shake like it's gonna stall.

yeah mine does that too lol most of the time its like 800-950 or so
