Any of you guys know where I can get one of these? And if I happened to stumble upon enough money for a swap like this would it be worth the time and effort?

Please tell me your kidding?
You say cash is tight, you ask about what types of motors to possibly get and how easy they would be to do it,and now all the sudden you jump to a K Series swap?I think you are jumping waaay ahead of your capabilities.
You ask how hard a d or b series would be,which lead s me to beleive that you have limited knowledge about them, the k series in a 5th gen is an entirely new can of worms.

Yeeeaah right! By the sounds of it,i am suuure YOU could do this in a weekend!

If you were really kidding, please excuse the smartass sarcasm.

No, its fine. I was just wondering. I saw a video that someone posted of an intgra with the k20r swap absolutley killing an H22 hatch. I almost wet myself. It was just UN-GODLY!!!! Is it possible though..........with the right amount of cash?

With the right amount of cash anything is POSSIBLE.
Those motors are still pretty new, very expensive still, and the swaps are not easy into older civics.

No kidding. My friend Kent just finnished his H22 swap into his 92 hatch. It was a 3 week project. He said it cost like $3,600. He said something about having to have custom knuckles and something else made. Like you said I have limited knowledge. But it's fast. He actually gave me a ride home from my moms house.

There is guy that is on another board i am on,he recently bought a JDM k20a to put into his DC4.I know he sepnt some money and time on that motor.I think it is more complicated than the h22,which i am still not sold on.SImply put that motor was not made to cram into a civic.
Anyway,His results with the JDM K20a:
13.58 @ 101.66
93 octane
Stock Timing
Stock ECU no tuning
2.06 60'
Shitty intake
more than 3/4 tank
both seats

BTW, i was hoping you were kidding, but wanted to bring some reality it just in case.......

I also find it funny how the guy who originally started this thread has not replied since,we jacked his thread, and we went from a SOHC Zc to the K20!!

Holy crap...that is a really low ET. The numbers interests me but then I think about gas prices and my wallet kicks me in the ass as a reminder.
