is it possible to put a dohc head on a sohc 1998 ex block if so what is needed as far as parts wise and years which head will fit...

Yeah,mixing between d and b series families is a NO No!
Basically all D series stuff is interchangable with d series,and b series stuff with b series.

i believe the throttle bodies should be interchangeable between the d series and b series.

Oh and dont try to put a dohc zc head on a single cam motor, it wont work either.
