sup everyone i got a 94 civic dx with a B-18c1 and i am going to turbo it. I am going to but the Greddy kit and an intercooler from a website. my question is can i just bolt everything up and it spool and be ok or should i just have a shop do it? do u have to tune v-tec with turbo

man...alright...what engine management are you gunna run or are you gunna run an FMU? By all means, you could bolt it on and go...but if you plan on doing anything spectacular with it, it should be tuned. Personally, i think the greddy kit is weak and i can tell you from personal experience i can build you a cheaper turbo kit that will produce more power. However if you dont plan on building the motor i dont that that my route is a good route to go. The greddy intercooler isnt very good. If i were you, i would get hondata s100 with boost, and build your own custom turbo kit. Thats just my opinion. oh and btw i can get you all the parts, including hondata, turbo manifold, turbo, intercooler, exhaust. pistons, whatever you need i can get, and i can get you extremely good prices. If you didnt know, Me and my buddy built a 536whp civic with a gsr motor in it. fully built. it takes money to build a reliably fast turbo honda. just bolting on a turbo and going is not the way to go.
