I'm having a problem with my driver side window. It has fallen off track three times in the past few weeks. My boyfriend has repaired it all three times due to the fact that I don't want to take it back to balise and pay and arm and a leg for them to do the same thing my boyfriend has done. I know its a common problem among civics and I've been told that Honda never really found a permanent fix for it. As of right now it is on track but when I put it up it looks like it could pop back out at an given moment. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so what have you done to fix it or if it can even be fixed for good? Its getting really irritating...especially in the rain.

If it is doing it very often, you might have to just buy a new regulator from the dealership.

Yeah I was told that lubing it up helps, the boyfriend did that as well the last time he fixed it. If it comes off track again I guess the dealership is my next option. Thanks.

I fixed my window, hopefully for good this time. Had my boyfriend and his friend (who also had this problem with his civic) put it back on track and they sprayed them with some silicone. Works like new.
Now I just have to get going on that exhaust leak! |

Sounds like your car is falling apart.
