I picked up an OBX 4 into 1 header from an ebay seller in my area for $120 no shipping or tax. i really wanted DC but i got anxious. anyways will I pass smog with this in Cali. Or should I just wait and put it in after my registration and smog in 3 months?

Just swap it out before inspection.. or better yet, sell it to someone else for the same price you paid, then save up cash until the inspection- get your sticker and put on a DC header. You'll be the same as if you planned to wait for installation, but you'll have a much better part on your car and you'll pass inspection next time without worrying too.

the 4-1 header from DC sports is not carb exempt, only 4-2 from what i know. As far as getting a DC sport, I just dont feel like forking up the extra dough if im going to swap in the meer future. (Sooner or later basicly.) I just wanted a little something meanwhile. The head isn't on the car yet, still stock. Thats why im playing with my options still.

i say dont worrie about getting a dc sports header. keep the one u have, get ur car inspected, then put it on. Whats the point of buying a dc one for 400 bucks then going out n spending the money on a swap.

ok, I guess you can say I wanted "say so" I wasnt to sure if what I wanted to do was the right way of going about it or not. Carb exempt is good, but not I have to sacrifice any extra power I might get out of it.. Thanks guys
