yeah i dont know what happened with your greddy man, but i had mine for 3 years, had no rust, or holes, or anything like you described. probably some fluke thing that happened during manufacturing.

i have a freind who has a greddy evo on his teg he had some problems with it to. i think greddy still makes a good product though. i think the greddy system sounds better any way.

he had the problem with it because something hit the exhaust when he was driving last winter. it wasnt product defect it was just something that happened.

nstygrnhatch--->as far as the diff between the evo and the evo2 they slightly changed the muffler and they polished the whole system now. also they piping may have slgihtly diff bends for a better fit. i mean if i were in yur shoes i prob wouldnt buy another greddy either but until something like that happens to me im a believer in greddy.

greddys whole sp2 and evo 2 is just a marketing schem. sales declined so the decided to try n make the product appeal to more customers.

i never knew that andys exhaust got messed up cuz of that, or i just dont rember.

Go with SP2 or EVO2...both looks great! EVO2 isn't that loud if drive normal shifting at 3k Rpm.
