I myself have always wanted an ITR swap.. I think im gonna stick by it.. Who knows what will come about in the next couple of years with motors though. I have to wait 2 more years until im 25 before I can afford a 2nd car for daily driving and swap this one...(insurance, just cant afford it)

i think hasport makes a mount kit for it now, they did do a rsx type s motor swap into a 01 civic lx sedan. i dont know how well it worked but the new k series has a bright future in the world of swaps

the engine is positined opposite to the regular civic, the good thing is that there is a HUGE room for a turbo in any model civic with a k series enginen except the new SI's.
about the ECU, it would have to be altered as the rsx-s engine uses an immobilizer this can easily be fixed by an acura dealer, the car will still run btu not too great i think... or you could simply use the hondata kPro and get a bit more rpm's ![]() |

You expected them to be cheap? The K series has not been out long enough for them to be cheap. |

I would say your are looking at closer to $7-9K with the kit, I've been looking into it, but right now its a toss up between a K20 and a JRSC GSR in my eg coupe. Either way, it would be bad ass. And I guarantee the resell value of an eg with a K series swap would be through the roof.
