So the other day my car started runing rough when it was idling and I talked to a few of my buddies who are mechanics and they said that I need to adjust the idle timing screw and the timing belt. So how do I adjust the timing belt?

I recommend taking it to a mechanic to do it, Doing this yourself could screw your timing up and cause more problems in the long haul.

There's no "idle timing screw." It's possible that your timing belt jumped a tooth or two on your cam gear, which can cause it to run rough. Take it to a mechanic if you have never done anything timing belt related before.

Maybe time for new spark plugs if they haven't been replaced.

yeah def take it to someone who knows what thier doing...you mess something up with the timing belt, start the motor and the valves will make sweet love to the pistons.
