Since the s.c. drains a little power because of the belts and pulleys, if you get a pulley kit for your car i.e. crank pulley kit from unorthodox would that wash out the power loss.

Yeah a bit, but nothing extemeley noticeable. My advice dont do it being your gonna tamper with the life of your motor. Especially if its a daily driver.

don't put a SC on your civic, it's just not the route to go w/ a small 4-cylinder. turbo is so much more bang for your buck.

I've been doing research on turbos for I don't know how long now, and it wasn't till recently that I thought about going s.c. what I like the best about sc over turbo is, sc is pretty much slap it on and go. I know that with a turbo its easier to..well almost everything, but I think that for the 200-225whp I'm looking for a s.c. will do me the best.

you need tuning possible upgraded injectors etc etc.. turbo > sc

SC is more reliable, but turbo will make more power and a turbo is 100% efficient

werd, I know someone with a Jackson racing SC and her bf ran her type s @15 flat.. pretty gay IMO, considering they have all the bolt ons to go with it.

First of all, SC is not any more reliable than a turbo. Both are boost, both require fuel upgrades and tuning.

Second, you're not gonna be anywhere near your WHP goal. Go to the JRSC site and look up the dyno sheet for a SC'd single cam.
