Since the s.c. drains a little power because of the belts and pulleys, if you get a pulley kit for your car i.e. crank pulley kit from unorthodox would that wash out the power loss.

don't put a SC on your civic, it's just not the route to go w/ a small 4-cylinder. turbo is so much more bang for your buck.

I've been doing research on turbos for I don't know how long now, and it wasn't till recently that I thought about going s.c. what I like the best about sc over turbo is, sc is pretty much slap it on and go. I know that with a turbo its easier to..well almost everything, but I think that for the 200-225whp I'm looking for a s.c. will do me the best.

SC is more reliable, but turbo will make more power and a turbo is 100% efficient

First of all, SC is not any more reliable than a turbo. Both are boost, both require fuel upgrades and tuning.
Second, you're not gonna be anywhere near your WHP goal. Go to the JRSC site and look up the dyno sheet for a SC'd single cam. |
