First question you need to ask yourself, is what do YOU want to do with the car? N/A and turbo both have their advantages. You need to decide which you prefer.
We're here to help, and not tell you what we think you should do. |

I think you should decide how much money you want to spend and go from there. You can only build your motor for either N/A or turbo. You can go down the middle road, but then you limit yourself on either end.
I also think you should read anything and everything you can find about N/A and turbo setups. The biggest mistake you can make is listening to whatever we tell you to do without knowing what we are talking about. You go on these forums and see a big list of parts that make a 10 second car; however, buying these parts will do you no good if you don't know what they do. I'm not too familiar with Preludes and their potential, but I do know they are good building blocks for either or. Stick around and read up. You'll learn a lot real quick if you are determined enough. |

You can easily drop 4500 into a b16 building it with high compression, etc and end up pulling 14s. On the same token you could spend 4500 on a DIY turbo with a few extra accessories to tune it and pull 13s, if not better.
