Don't tap into the the O2 harness directly, Tap into the ECU harness. It's pin number 14 on the D harenss, white with red stripe.

ok i have tried hooking the wire up to the ecu on pin d14...i get nothing until i turn the car off. as soon as i turn it off the gauge lights up and then turns off... could that mean my O2 sensor is bad or wut? but shouldnt the gauge do something even if the O2 sensor is bad?
