I've seen alot of air intakes out there, and I don't really like the look of them or want one with a cone-style filter. My friend suggested to get an Amsoil Air filter to replace my original one, and change the stock air tube with a different one.

Are there any aftermarket air intake tubes that would allow me to keep my stock Air Box in the same location ??? Thanks alot for any help,
JDK

Not that I know of but you could buy a mandrel bent "U" pipe from JCW for $15 cut it and custom fit it. thats if your TB is off to the side of the intake manifold go 2 1/2 inch on the pipe to keep intake velocity up.

Not really. Have you thought about using a K&N drop in replacement filter or a Comptech Ice Box?

I wanted to try and use the AMSoil drop-in replacement, but use a different pipe to the stock box.

Yeah I guess they are new, but considering how nice their Oil products work, i'm hoping the filter is good too !!

check the site, they even carry other random stuff.

yeah, that was kinda' my thought. amsoil makes innovative/quality products, i'd feel comfortable in assuming their air filters are the same way.

Cool, i'll try one of those, but i was thinking along the lines of what the aftermarket intakes come with or the turbo kits come with, those silicon boots.
