Hey,
Wasnt planning on buying a cf hood but there is someone local who is selling one for a decent price ($300), and no shipping b/c its local How good is the fiberimages brand.. I was planning on VIS. Should I wait and get VIS or take up this deal? I dont know anyone w/ experience w/ cf hoods so i'm pretty much lost. Thanks in advance -Azn oh, the hood has rolled edges and all. |

if its local go and check it out.. make sure it fits and matches the lines of the car...try it out first..

alright.. there is someone selling an APC now for $250... worth it? LIke the price but I dont trust the brand.

if it is well made who cares!!
I'd buy an apc cf hood if it was that cheap...however make sure the edges are nicely rolled and there are no rough cuts also like DBZERK said make sure it lines up right so that you dont end up looking ghetto with it, check to see if it comes with the lathces or are you gong to have to get hood pins...can you tell i'm sopping for one too! ![]() good luck! ics: when you decide and put it on |

Fiber Image hoods used to be one of the best. There was a clip on their website demonstrating someone from their staff jumping up and down on it . . . HARD!!! . . they flipped it over and nothing was wrong with it. They even backed a small car over it and amazingly enough . . . it was in perfact shape.

thanks.. but right now I have spent way to much daym money on my car.. once I sell my old wheels and headlights I will be a little more serious about it. Damn money... need more of it.
