my tires sound like mice when i turn a tight corner. I would like to buy new ones for the time being. What is a good tire that will fit the stock 1993 DX rim? also, is it worth replacing them now, or saving up for rims+wheels later?

p.s. they burn like mad when i slam on the gas in first and chirp going into second and sometimes third... quite amusing...

see what kumho makes in that size (175/70-13), generally speaking there aren't a lot of great 13" tires out there.

so in your opinion, do you think it would be a benefit to buy new tires now, or wait and save up for rims aswell? I was thinking of 15-16 inch rims, i think 17's look kind of ghetto, and make unnecessary weight. im not looking for the most expensive rims, in truth im probably looking for some of the cheapest. which is a decent-quality company and how much would they cost? thanks (>^-^)> KeKeKe.

i'm biased because i have a love affair w/ dx wheels but yeah you should go ahead and get a little bigger/wider wheels tires unless there is a safety issue w/ your current tires.

you could probably pick up a set of gsr wheels or si wheels w/ tires for ~$400 or new rotas w/ tires for $550-600.

Damn they must be bold. When my tires were shot i would spin second when shifting hard. Now they grip and go.
