I got bored so this is my story of the day...
------------------------ Dammit! someone stole my taillights ![]() After finding traces of sandpaper and rubbing alcholol the theif left something behind... ![]() (sorry for shitty pic) AH HA! found them again! ![]() with no more AMBER! And found the others.. btw yes the white part of the lense is covered with electrical tape.. ![]() well i guess i should put my taillights back before they get stolen again (pics still to come) Thank you for putting up with my boredom lol |

you can get aftermarket ones that dont have the amber on them, and are red/clear. they would look a little better. if you dont want to go that route though, painting your taillights always look better if you take them apart, and paint them on the inside. just a thought.

are hatch tails easy to take apart to paint the inside, i have a set of clears hangin around that i'd be willing to experiment on

i took the tails out but i didnt take the hatch tails apart, just sanded them lightly with 320, then 600 then 1000, cleaned them well with some rubbing alcholol and sprayed.

New Pics, Tails Are ON!
and look Great! ![]() ![]() overall the work was extremely easy just time consuming getting the bolts off of the tail lights to get them out. the reason why i did it cuz it just think it looks cleaner, still very stock-ish, and i hate altezzas |
