I went to macco today, and to see how much it would cost them to do all the bondo work, and prim it.. they said 490$ for bondo and sand and prim. I have a lot of dings and stuff, so i think it might be a far offer. Any ideas on cheeper ways?

i would diy, bondo is very easy to work with and its something where u can make mistakes and still fix them. i bondo'd my last car and it came out fine, then again it is the cheap way and on my teg i dont think i would do any bondo, but it works. again, diy.

that's what i did on mine, and it came out nice... you know what mine looked like before i started...
PM me sometime and I'll give you a list of everything you need, and I'll try to tell you how much it'll cost if you intend to bondo it yourself.

dont use the shitty spreaders, go out and get urself a good plastic one. and a palm sander, non orbital, will help a lot.

well an orbital sander is definitely good for big areas, as long as it's adjustable... but definitely by hand is best for smaller areas

small dings, by hand all day, knowin you have to sand by hand makes you want to keep the bondo to a minimum, don't get bondo happy and you'll be fine

When it comes to doing body work, and the car has lots of dings, DIY is too much work. I was actually thinking of taking the car to Macco also. Even though I'll have to pay the high price to get it done, knowing that it will be done by people who might know what they're doing just makes me feel better. Also I don't have the adequate tools, time or pacience to do body work.
