Lightbulb Paint Job

So I am going to do an engine swap sometime in the near future and while I'm at it, I'm finally going to change the colour of my car (currently its a aqua green kinda colour).

I've decided to go with black, but now I'm scared of making the car 'too black' and I want to know how I can break it a bit without making to much of a big thing of it.

Reason why I say I don't want it to be 'too black' is because:
1) The car will be black
2) I will be getting angel-eye headlights that will be smoke
3) I will be getting some taillights that will also be smoke
4) My wheels are a pair of SSW's that have a kind of black outline (I have included an image of example, though not exactly what I have -just so you can get an idea:

So this is what has run through my mind:
1) Standard thick Le-Mar stripes down the middle (white probably?)
2) "Thin" Le-Mar stripes slightly to one side of the middle of the car
3) A stripe running down each side of the car and curving up over the wheel and coming down to a sort of v on the bonnet

Im going mad because Im sure the black alone will be too much and I need something to break it a bit. I would appreciate any ideas/input and if you guys know of any good sites where I could get some idea's - that would be great
