I've gone through 11 or so bottles of nitrous, ZEX 75 shot, and my stock clutch is fine. It doesn't slip and it grips very very well.

from what ive heard talking to my 2 local shops is. 1. a wet set up is much better than a dry set up. and 2. Nitrous Xpress is the way to go. they have both told me about the zex "brain" going dead, and theres no way of knowing until your engine is destroyed. something having to do with your timing. i dontknow much, but thats what i was told. so, after my clutch and flywheel, i am going with a wet NX 50 shot. and hopefully break into the 13's.
again. just what i've heard. -Dane

What they told you doesn't surprise me one bit.

Another thing you guys might want to look into is a bottle heater, especially if you live in a colder climate. My friends have said it's like night and day between having the bottle at optimum pressure or not. I don't think any of them are over $200. This would be a good accessory to have on a colder track day. Just my .02 cents.

A bottle opener should be the least of you concerns when doing a kit. If you have the extra 200 bucks go for it, but I could find my money spent better elsewhere, like your flywheel.

flywheel will be taken care of on monday, hopefully. as for the bottle opener, its just another toy that i want. you can find them on ebay for about $75. used, and a different brand, but who the hell cares.

I mean if you don't have anything else to spend your money on, I think it's sweet, if I had extra cash I would get one too. I was just saying I would rather spend the money for something else that I needed more.

gotcha. yeah, i think after N2O i will be finished with the civic, performance wise.. coilovers and shocks/struts. then im about done.. then another car. but a question. when you spray nos, can you spray while shifting gears? or do you have to hit the button a few times. lol. its kind of a stupid noob question, but ive never experienced nitrous.

Depends on which kit you use. If your using the zex system the nitrous is engaging only when your at wide open throttle. (flooring it). If you have the "button" it only sprays while you hold it down, if you let go while you shift it will not be spraying. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me...anyone.
