yeah, there was a time when people were buying those cheap plastic fans for boats from ebay for 70bucks and they were worth something like 20....If this is all the rage they say this is, they would have mass marketed that beast a long time ago....and that thing looks like it costs maybe a 5-600 at the most, not 3K.

well first let me say i work for the company that makes the electrocharger. and i would be happy to answer any questions.
first off the price will be 2500 when it comes for sale later this fall. second this has been an ongoing venture with Texas A and M university. into hybrid electric vehicles. it adds torque to Low Rpm via a kevlar drive belt hooked directly to the crank. total weight of the system is 70 pounds and there no wait to recharge unless your car can accelerate for a full 2 minutes. and the lithium ion batteries have a life of 20 to 30 years. and the electrocharger works in conjunction with nitrous and superchargers. i am here to answer any questions you may have. you can also check the website for updated info. at www.alphamaleperformance.com thanks, al |

I agree that at the price the electrocharger is sold at, might as well buy a turbo kit and save yourself the trouble. It may be a great device...but then again the cd player was a great device in the late 80's for a couple hundred bucks...now you can pick one up from the change you got from your MP3 player.
