i was reading the latest issue of hondatech and came across an add for a thing called and electrocharger. it supposedly adds of to 100 lb/ft of torque. it replaces the alternator and has a 48 volt battery pack in the trunk for power. i personaly dont really understand how it works.
check out the website www.alphamaleperformance.com and let me know what you think. plus if you go to the website, you can check out they companies ass ugly wide body civic with a 3 foot rear spoiler, im not kidding. |

that's kinda' cool but if they are $3500 why not just buy a turbo kit and have the power all the time.

Car is ugly, dosent get much into the tech of the product, looks like a generator and a 48 volt battery that just pushes the motor up to speed faster.............. looks pretty gay for 3500 bucks..... makes ya just want to swap your motor for a huge electric one.................. NAHHHH!

That would be over 7k for all that, no built motor. Not worth it. Built bottom end w/ resleave and turbo would benifit more.

Such a waste.. Having to carry extra batteries that will weigh you down for just a boost of power.. then you gotta wait for it to recharge.. plus i bet those are expensive batteries to replace
