 302whp 251wtq D16z6 stock, headgasket -- T3/T4 -- 16.5psi -- AFC hack  251whp 220.2wtq D16y8 forged internals -- Greddy kit -- 15psi -- Hondata RC440s so dont expect much out of your turbo'd d-series. |

its all in the tuning... If people can get 980+ hp out of a stock 2jz motor then people can get more than that out of the d series.

anything can be accomplished if you have the money and are willing to spend it for that reason. i myself, dont have it, and if i did, im not sure if i would. or maybe i would, i dunno

woa. the little engine that could. Thats fantastic....the price I mean... to handle that power. Those are some great numbers from a sock (sohc) engine.....get it....sock....they sound the....baaa, what do you know about funny.

In here there is a daily driven SOHC that put 296whp last time it went to the dyno.
Thats on a Y8 motor @ 15PSI with VAFC hack. Now it is shooting for 340ish whp with some changes.. I posted it on the Civic Coupe section..Go look at it there.

You got to hand it to d series engines though, especialy this guy who took the time to actually build up an sohc motor....If you can reach those kind of numbers on an engine built to handle a fraction of that power...kudos. And yes....Type L....socks can hang
