well.. You may be able to loosen the wastegate's actuater arm.. but its not for sure that it will work, and 5psi isn't that much

5 psi is too much????

what kinda exhaust are you running.. If you have a 2.5 inch exaust and a cat it MAY create enough back pressure that you won't spool the tubo all the way up to a 5psi.

Or if you are worried about the pressure with your higher compression motor you could always.

-Tighten the plug gap on your plugs just a little more.. maybe .05 or so
-retard your base timing 1 degree or so.
-Find some form of real octane booster. 100 octane fuel/xylene and mix it with premium gas


or the easiest thing
Get a boost guage and watch it
Stay outta the throttle. A turbo only spools under load.. So no full thorttle runs or hard driving and your ok.

In my turbo car I can drive around all day and never hit 1 psi of boost.
