I wouldn't run a stock B at 14 psi. In my opinion, if you are bone stock besides the basic airflow stuff, then 6lbs. If you want to bump it up a little, you can stay on stock internals but upgrade your fuel system and push about 8lbs.

B16 shouldn't run more than 8 PSI STOCK

well you can't tell people what psi is safe if you don't know the size of the turbo.

Its all about tuning.. if you can have the car tuned well and run higher octane you can push the limits a bit..

but we won't know the limit till the motor goes.. and every motor/setup is differant.

Its all about tuning and fuel management.

Actually i know quite some fellas running 10 PSI on a stock block D series..

There is a guy at Honda-Tech that dynoed 260ish WHP @ 12PSI on his Stock block D16Z6...but guess what..he has Hondata as Engine management..Again..tunning is the key

I am running 9.5 psi on my stock b18b pushing 240 to the wheels. No problems yet, I totally agree that tuning is the key but I wouldn't run more that 8-10 psi on an h22. Run more if you want but don't expect it too last a year or two.
