Honestly.. I think your over reacting... Just like I do evertime i hear a new noise from my car.. but if the turbo was fine when it was on the car and it has been stored since then.. how would it break if it wasn't getting used.

(i think i saw one place on the internet a while back, but it was like $300 or something) more specifically, is there anyone that can do it in the maryland, baltimore area? i know thats being picky but right now im thinking that after i get it on the motor and it gets oil ran through it, it should be fine. thanks for the feedback guys. i always like getting other opinions.

I'm with MKNTRAXX. How could it break when it was fine before it went in storage? Its probaly just a little surface rust from humidty.

shouldn't even be any rust.. should have been atleast enough oil in the cartridge to keep it lubed.

And if you seriously do what it rebuilt i can recomend a couple places if ya want.. but i don't think any are local
