It would increase response.... Make the car a little more street freindly IMO.... With 10:1 You'll have a bit more power off the boost.

BUT your then limiting yourself to lower boost and possibly lower power without the aid of higher octane gas.


This is where we start talking about "what do you want outta the car?"

If you want to spool faster, you can always use a smaller turbo as well.

you guys make such a huge deal about lag..

if your low enough in rpms that the turbo does actually lag... DOWNSHIFT... its as easy as that.

Lag is lag. But just think of how fast you get up to 3.5 k in first. After that there shouldn't be any lag.

I can get a t25 ballbearing turbo built for you by magestic turbo at a very reasonable price. VERY fast spooling.
