bwhaahahhaha...

well its all dependant on what you want. LS turbo is better, LS tranny has longer gearing better for turbo spool up and staying in the powerband...

The tranny alone is not a good reason to recomend the LS. If gearing needs to be longer for turbo than he could use the LS tranny with the GSR motor. That way he would get the extra power, with the better gearing. Personally I have heard mixed reviews about turboing VTEC motors so I will be sticking with an LS turbo. That is just my .02

The mixed reviews are because people don't know how to tune turbos with VTEC. The GSR makes more power under boost than the LS- you just have to know how to tune it. The transmission choice should still be left to the GSR as well... the LS is a bit too long. It's nice on the highway, but you'll still be waiting a while to spool up.

That is what I thought about the LS transmission. I spent the extra cash to get the GSR tranny. It seemed to me like the RPM's would fall to low to get you back into boost quickly. Since I will be doing most of the initial tuning myself, I stuck with the LS motor.

you may have well asked what nut i bust from when having sex. Left Right . Either way they both can be built up to be fast moving cars.

But if your talking built to the tee running like 120 octane gas.
Fully built NA b18c1 VS fully built boosted this means like 18-22 PSI b18b1 .

Then hell yes the LS will win

Why? What makes you so sure that the LS is a better boosted motor?
