Thumbs up

Hey guys, I'm going to make my civic a SOHC Turbocharged. Just one question what do you guys recommend for the internals. I'm not made of money but yet I want something that?s going to hold. Im not very educated in brands/reputations of internals, so I would appreciate all the help. I'm already running a 75 shot of Nitrous Express...Civic seems to be holding up great no problems and I've had it for about 3 months. Any information/websites would be great! Thanks -jon

Well I would do a leak down test to make sure that you motor is okay. If you don't run more then 7 or 8 lbs. of boost your shock internals will be fine. If you want to go with more boost just look into low compression pistons and strong rods.

If you are running decent boost, you might want to resleeve the motor. It just mainly depends on how much you want to spend and how fast you want to be. For now you will just want to make sure and run a compression test and cylinder leak down test to make sure everything is good. If you want, it woudn't be a bad idea to have your oil sent out to make sure the bearings and what not are decent. Just remember good tuning is the key.

If you want to run more than 10-12 psi at the track, I'd invest in some forged pistons and rods, stainless steel valves, and have the blockresleeved. If you have good tuning, you can push probably up to 12 psi or so at the track...8 daily.

For your application, I would suggest Greddy. http://www.greddy.com

Although, don't go to their website and look at their prices. Goldenboy on here can get you a much better price.

you shouldnt need to build up your engine at all if your running under 10 pounds of boost and have a good fuel management!
