LS turbos are common, you're right on that aspect.

On that note, Cars with LS Turbos and Holes in the block are even more common. My motto is, if you're gonna do it, do it right.

The real question is:
Have you even found & gotten a Crx to put all this work into yet?
Or ,as was said above,is this just a "champagne and Caviar"dream?

yea I have found a crx I just have to make time to go pick it up.
So it's also pretty common to blow the ls motor? or is it just people who try to push it with a stock block?

you can ask me anything about wrxs but I am totally new to this honda thing[/b]
well welcome! i think you need to handle this like when you budget for a expensive purchase. Write down your plans first, do you want to drag race etc, if so man you dont need 300 hp to be in the 11's lol, write down everything you want, we all know we have dreams for our cars if you want to brag you have 300 hp then go for that.. if you want to brag you went 10.8 in the quarter go for that. if by chance the meet in the middle then so be it.

most important write down yoru budget. a honda is a money pit. a 300 hp drag strip auto x crx is a mega money pit, i hope you make bank.

once you come to all these conclusions you'll be able to ask better questions. See this is why the sti's a wrx's the srt4's and such are screwing stuff up cause these little speed kiddies buy a car quick out of the box and have no clue what goes into making a car fast from the ground up and making it so that they can build on that platform. (not saying your this but matchs the mentallity)

this is a tight nit comunity man.* people come in here asking about what size rims and what not for there car and there hopes and dreams.* Usually ends up in a flame war.* Got a simple question, ask it... you'll get a simple answer.* Just dont be coming around asking what can I do to a so an so to make it so an so hp.* Just makes ya sound like a noob with your caviar wishes and champagne dreams.
no, incorrect it never turns into a flame war. heated conversation maybe but not on my watch.

i just wanted a new project the wrx is fun and all but I put in a bigger turbo,injectors,pump,management,etc... and I've gone as far as I can go with it, plus I getting tired of the payments I'd rather buy a car and put the money from the payment towards modding a project car.
