if you've got that kind of money, yes it's acheivable... Just remember the stock LS engine has 140hp your trying to push an extra 160+ hp out of it... so your going to need to put a decent amount of cash into your engine before turboing.

not to recomend you doing it. But a buddy of mine ran 11 flat on a bone stock turbo'd ls block... and did it for half a race season.

I know i will prob get flamed,or warned or something for this...but....it sounds like you have big dreams and no "know how" of what you are talking about.I have read a couple of your previous posts and am just not impressed of convinced that you really know anything. Maybe you should GET a Rex first.Sounds like a typical noob to me...

this is a tight nit comunity man. people come in here asking about what size rims and what not for there car and there hopes and dreams. Usually ends up in a flame war. Got a simple question, ask it... you'll get a simple answer. Just dont be coming around asking what can I do to a so an so to make it so an so hp. Just makes ya sound like a noob with your caviar wishes and champagne dreams.

well my suggestion would be this.

Get the LS block, Blue print it, strip it bare, and rebuild all with parts that are stronger than stock. Stronger crank, crank bearings, rods, rod pins, Pistons, rings, seals, as well as polishing and sleeving the block before any of that stuff goes in. Then work on the Head, the head should be bullet proof, titanium springs/retainers/whatever. You'd also want to get a good set of cams that have lobes set to run Turbo. Once you have all of that done, then and only then would you be ready to run a turbo.

Sure you can just slap a turbo on a stock setup and just change your injectors and get a Fuel management system and call it a day, but if you take the above route, you can set your boost level at whatever the hell you want (given the fact that you have the proper Fuel Delivery) and reliably run some impressive numbers whenever you want, without fear of shit falling apart.
