i need some more help. ive been lookin at alot of turbo kits over the past month trying to figure out what to buy. just curious would it be better to piece together a kit on my own. im pretty sure it would be cheaper but might be more work. but im lookin to save some cash if possible.

your best bet is a kit, unless you know ALOT about forced induction. I say go with a nice kit. You will most likely get the most hp gains from a kit.

Unless you have knowledge about fuel maps and cmmpressor just buy a nice kit from drag or greddy and you'll be happy with it. |

just get a greddy kit..they are relatively cheap and are pretty decent from what i've seen/heard. I bought mine for 1350 used (really good deal) although i still need oil lines. do you know how to put the kit in though? I'm having a shop put it in for me just cause I don't trust myself..~500-600 labor.

As far as the origional question, a drag or rev-hard kit work well for a decent price and less headache for a first time turbo project. After the first, you might want to then consider a custom kit. |
