thinking about picking up an exhaust system soon. i want to go ahead of schedual and buy somthing now before i go out n turbo my 98ex. i know the apex n1 exhaust system can ahndle boost, has ne one had any experinces with it andhow does it sound. or im gonna go out n get thermal r&d. what do your guys think???

Well...im gunna recommend what i always do...kteller.com makes a full bolt up kit for your car in 2.5". if your running turbo, that would work great. its what we run on our cars, and the sound pretty mellow. my car right now, no cat, straight 3" exhaust, through a 3" magnaflow muffler from kteller, isnt that loud till my car crosses over into vtec. and when the turbo goes on it will be even quieter.

thermal 3" exhaust for turbo cars. The apexi N1 is more made for N/A thier piping is 2.25"

you can get 3" from kteller if you want to go that big, thats what david is running. i just didnt know if thats how big you wanna go...i believe kteller also makes larger exhaust than that, if you want.
