yeah i know. What happend was the day i did the install it was raining and i guess the humitity stopped the RTV sealent from drying 100%. So i'm going to put a nice beed on today to lunch and let it dry. I just ordered a 4 an to 1/8 NPT to i'm going to redo the whole oil setup this weekend.
ANother thing. Anyone know anything about turbo blankets. It's like insulation the keep the turbo from heating everythign else up under the hood. I just ordeered some thermal wrap for my exhaust. Would it be ok to wrap the turbo mani as well? Will this give the mani a better chance of cracking? |

You could wrap the mani, but it's kinda difficult to do with it on the car...it won't affect the mani in terms of cracking.

The blanket and wrap help keep under hood temps down.. by keeping the heat inside the exhaust/manifold...
I just ordered my kit.. and had the exhaust housing ceramic coated and i'm going to have the manifold and downpipe also ceramic coated then wrap it.. helps alot with under hood temps.

Well i ordeered the wrap, And i'll be taking the manifold off this weekend because i have to install two studs into the head because the bolts won't slide past the top of the mani so i'm missing two bolts holding it on.
